Jowett Motor Group announces acquisition of Canberra BMW, Canberra MINI Garage & Canberra BMW Motorrad

A new chapter for Canberra’s prestige automotive

The Jowett Motor Group (JMG) is delighted to announce the acquisition of Canberra BMW, Canberra MINI Garage & Canberra BMW Motorrad. This strategic decision marks the fifth BMW Group dealership within the JMG portfolio, underscoring the Group’s commitment to expanding its retail operations and enhancing customer experiences.

Canberra BMW has been a cornerstone in the local community for over 40 years, currently employing 90 staff members across its Botany Street and Shea St locations in Phillip. JMG will officially take over all existing business operations on September 2, 2024.

Patrick Van Den Bogaart, the current Dealer Principal, will continue in his role ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in leadership.
