Celebrating progress on International Women’s Day at JMG

FINANCE March 10, 2025 2 min read By AdTorque Edge

Our newly renovated Waverley BMW showroom provided a fitting backdrop for this year’s Jowett Motor Group International Women’s Day event – a celebration of progress, inclusion and shared commitment to supporting women in automotive.

The event was made even more special with two significant announcements from our Managing Director, Tony Jowett.

First, Tony introduced JMG’s new Paid Parental Leave policy, reinforcing our commitment to being an employer that supports its people through every stage of life. This initiative empowers team members to grow their families without sacrificing momentum in their careers.

Second, we were proud to announce our official membership with Women in Automotive, a national organisation focused on empowering women across the industry. This partnership is a step forward in our goal to create a more inclusive, supportive and dynamic workplace for all.

We were also honoured to welcome Rachel Butler (Reed), Co-Director at Women in Automotive, who led an insightful panel discussion alongside three of our incredible team members – Deborah BakerNatalia Wladysiuk and Isabella Walters – each sharing their experiences, insights and stories.

It was a truly inspiring and energising day, and one we’ll continue to build on.
